is 4x4 in quads really necessary for a lamping and off roading quad, i've been offered a cheap honda 250cc, 4x2, in not bad nick, its old but never got abused, has a rear bale rack, and very small front rack.

will it handle the wet boggy ground ok at slow speeds etc.

and to anyone about to comment on me being lazy for lamping from a quad, f**k off and don't comment, i know i'm lazy.

Only really need 4wd if your working the quad. My 2wd gets me anywhere I need to go with the addded lightness it is easy to bounce about it you get stuck. Cheers, D.
