new dog

hi all i have just been given a bullx bitch she is abaut 2 years old but she has been left in a pen from day one and not seen out

just wonted to no if any one think it is worth giveing the dog a go or just find her a good home what do you all think

If you've got the time for her then it's worth a try. You never know, she might turn out a belter.

Shame on the previous owner!

you got two choices imo, get her a good pet home, or try working her and keep at it, dont get her working and get her prey drive up, then give up cos it aint what you want, then give her to a pet home with a high prey drive, all or nothing i reckon! but id have a go.

i no she will kill because i put the dog in the garden went in to tell the girl frend i had got a new dog came out 1 min later a she had my littel girls pet rabbit out for the huch my girl frend was not happy had to tell my littel girl it ran awy

Mate a racing greyhound is just starting its career at this age i had a bitch in at 18 month that wouldnt look at a thing was in a home with cats etc within 3 weeks out mooching with the others it was as keen as the next. As stated hardest thing would be stock breaking but if you have permision without live stock i wouldnt worry either way id personaly still work her
