Hi, folks.

I've been useing CGP for a while and I really rate it but I can't fine tune the feckin' thing 'cos I can't find anywhere the BC for the .20 Dynamic PCP5s that I mainly use. I also use their .177 TM1s and I can't find it for them either...

Any help would be greatfully recieved

Cheers.

Hey Andy,

Si has done three threads now detailing exactly how to find the precise BC for ANY given pellet.

Our last post on Registration and Calibration is a perfect guide

Just follow Si's instructions and you will have the answer absolutely spot on :notworthy:

REGISTRATION & Calibration and also "How to find the BC of a pellet" in a search string will pull up the threads for you

I've had 1st hand tuition on this subject and, well youve seen the results buddy :good:

Cheers Buddy,

I'm now nearing the end and must admit, its beginning to get me down a little :(

The thought of going back to the crap that I escaped from is daugnting to say the least :(

As regards being a TechFeckWit?

Well you dont have to use a mildot job to achieve the BC as its POI at your nominal Zero (gotta be precise though) and then move the target out to say 45 meters, keep the same POA and then measure the pellet drop, put that number into CGP (unless youwant to do the complicated algotithm yourself) and CGP will give you the exact BC of the pellet

Hope I've helped a little

Take care

Thanks, Tony, it makes sense now. I didn't read Si's posts properly but I see what you guys mean.

I'd just looked at CGP's list of BCs and not seen them there, then looked at Dynamic's site and they don't list them either, then trawled through the rest of this bloody inter nerd thing and could not find them anywhere.....

Tony, mate, you've got to hit the bottom before you'll climb back up and you will. I know, I've been there

Cheers........

Hi Andy,

As long as you accurately know your rifles power output or velocity and input it into CGP you will get the precise BC of that pellet brand if you work it out yourself by firing a rifle registration shoot.

This sort of shoot takes weather info into account as well for line and range as well as shoots out any other non standard conditions.

If you need any help give me a shout buddy.

Si
