Cement and water can be classed as synergistic compunds, because when combined their effects are more than the sum of their individual effects. Therefore, water is said to have positive synergy; the number 2 could not, because it is always represents 1+1 in the equation (although, strangely, 2 to the power of 0 is 1 - check it on your calculator). Similarly, positive economic effects (eg cost savings) can be obtained by merging companies or centralising individual operations, therefore this could be classed as a synergistic relationship or synergistic move. Just as an aside, many nootropic compounds (cognitive enhancers with no side effects or toxicity - otherwise know as smart drugs) have positive synergy effects. I'm back to work now . . . . . . . mole catcher 1 Posted January 12, 2007 Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 Sorry lads, i must apologize for crows wantant need to show off when he has an audience. Many a time as his youger brother, have i had to witness this outward showing off, he cant help himself sometimes. The doctor who visits him in his ward, i meen home has said that if he carrys on with these sudden out bursts he will have no choice but to replace the gag and tighten the sleeve buckles. It wasnt untill he reached the age of about 35 did he realize not every one has padded wall paper. As for getting him to take his meds,well what can i say..... no chance. Sometimes this verbal diarrhoea even happens in his sleep, normally when the nightime mask that he has been fitted with slips, thus resulting in his room mate having a sleepless night. So once again, i feel as he is a some what social outcast because of these sudden meaningless outbursts, i am forced to say im sorry. Just one point of question befor i go, he has more than once hinted that it may not be him thats at fault, but the fact is he has a higher level of wisdom than most of us can comprehend?.......................... god that man can talk shite sometimes :whistle: Quote Link to post Share on other sites
