Putdown verming matey, this will cover animals like rabbit, rat and avian specied (crows pigeon as long as there on the ground) but remember even tho the .22lr has the capable power of killing a fox close range, fox does not come under VERMIN according to the Fiearms deparment. Rather odd, but we cant argue, they know better than us.

They will rarely give .22 for fox, but most forces seem to be leaning towards the "any other legal quarry" condition these days, which would cover fox. Of course some forces a re more pro-active about that, some will give it without asking, others you need to request it, and others won't even consider it.

Vermin covers Fox in the strathclyde region ,although each force seems to differ greatly
