You can rule out birds of prey ,they leave the pelvis and tail of a rat as well as the back skin,unless an owl as they swallow whole .Rats eat everything but the tail and skin .A fox would of carried it off ,they rarely if ever eat on the spot and they eat rats whole .A badger would dig around the trap before doing anything else .Being as its wet i would say a cat had something to do with the eating but not necessarily the turning over of the trap .Classic cat meal that mate ,even see where its vomited up some of the hair .Set a bigger livetrap and prove me wrong ,lol.
