BULL 100 Posted February 15, 2011 Report Share Posted February 15, 2011 Might be a bit late now but ive got away with it before this time of year cuttings off of gooseberry and currant bushes about a foot long just plant them where you want them by spring they should be rooted. hi blacktabs ive just prunned my red currant,white currant,blackcurrant goosebury and blue berrys i put some hormone powder on the cuttings only about 6 inches then planted them in the ground with compost around them i didnt really now what to do just took a chance hopfully they will grow ,as i bought the various bushes years ago and planted them they grew like crazy i need a load more to fill a bank up so hopfully they will take.
