I have a young saluki bitch here at the moment, 11 weeks old and standing about 17 inch at the shoulder, ill try and get a picture up later. hope he will make a good un' for you.

 

out of curiosity have you any pictures of the sire and dam you could post.

Thanks for the comments, He is full Saluki.

 

I'd prefer it if he stayed below the 27" mark as he would be more useful on the rabbits, the smaller dogs tend to be more agile but no matter if he gets bigger.

 

Thats a great photo PMW, I've got a lure machine that I made but but they soon get bored with the lure once they have seen live game.

 

The 2 who used to come lure coursing loved it & they both also raced on a greyhound track

Generally they are very independent , they won't do anything just for the sake of it like a collie type will.

 

Most pure Saluki's are not like any western/doggy type dogs in their behaviour, they are somewhat feral and as such require a totally different approach to any training.
