Nice one Bill,

My AA TX HC will be sent to SFS over Christmas/New Year, have already spoke over the phone with Tony, top bloke. Must say very reasonably priced for the work he does! Only downside there is a bit of a waiting list, but then thats to be expected, I would be worried if there wasn't.

Kind Regards,

Mikey.

Hiya Mikey.

You will be amazed at the difference his work makes mate, well worth the wait buddy

Good luck with it.

Hi Bill buddy,

Great to hear mate, I wouldn’t have thought any less though from Tony Wall.

I’ve had 4 rifles tuned from him buddy.

All magnificent works of art.

HW97K .22

HW95 Spectre Carbine .177

HW95K .177

HW97KT .22

He’s the only one I go to for spring piston rifle tuning.

The man is a genius when it comes to tuning Springer’s and he is cheap and the quality is second to none.

I once said this on a clip on YouTube and I got slagged to death by PM from other shooters saying what about the Popes and JB’s of this world, so I’m threading very carefully here.

I would seriously give him 10 out of 10 for every rifle he has tuned for me.

That’s me, Mark Vining, Jack Reid, Buster and now you Bill all rating him highly.

Someone should do a thread to be pinned pointing new shooters where to go for tuning, mods, silencers etc.

My personal recommendations from work I’ve seen are, yes there are others out there but I’m going on what I’ve seen and not what I’ve heard are:

Springer tuning / fixing – Tony Wall, no questions asked

Silencers and PCP mods including barrel shortening – Adrian Waugh every time

PCP tuning - Simon Howarth (Tench) or John Bowkett

Regulators - Simon Howarth (Tench)

Good luck with the HW95 Bill.

What’s everyone else’s list of top rifle tuners and mod men?

Si

Hiya Si.

I went to Tony after reading of your experience with him, top reccomendation

You have listed some fine and reliable people in your your post, all built a reputation for themselves by helping people, and turning out qaulity work.

Your idea of a pinned thread is a good one, it would help everybody with future tuning and fettling need's, and give the right people, well deserved work.
