hi all im buildin a shelf in me ferret shed with a ladder so the beds are out the way and was thinkin of adding some little extras like hamock etc just give them somthink 2 mess about with pics would be great cheers

Just to throw another question in to this post,

 

I have my court inside my shed, so nothing exposed to the elements, i have three large nest boxes in them and now only keep two hobs which live in there.

 

Every time i fill the nest boxes with shavings, the next time i go to clean them out theres nothing left in them, but the acsess hole is in the middle of the nest box door ( circular hole cut through door ). I know the ferts dont use them as they sleep on the floor in a nest they make themselves.

 

Anyway the questions are

 

1) Can i do away with the nest boxes as they have always slept on the floor and it will give me more room for them to explore ?

 

2) How do they get all the shavings out of the nest boxes as ive never seen them do it ?
