pigeonphill 69 Posted November 7, 2010 Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 steve and myself was out with andy {pug} today on some new land andy has just got himself and also bill who andy works with some times came out for hes first ferreting trip . today was going to be long nets and the very first warren we done the rabbit flys out followed by bramble up its arse straight into the long net untangled the rabbit and the dog and one big hole in the long net to repair , still brambles only a pup and the heat of the moment proved to much for her . we carried on and done a couple more warrens and had some great sport from them, and the dog respecting the nets better .there still young about and we had a few bolt and a few that met there maker with the ferrets .andy done some top filming on the camcorder lucky as the camera let us down the part timers all wanted a early day so we called it a day about half one with 17 in the bag . agreat day andy and thanks for haveing us out regards phill Quote Link to post
