sako game heads

Recommended Posts

i use the sako gamehead bullets on my 243 through my howa 1500 sporter

ive zerod it at 100 yrds and set another 2 targets up one @50 yrds and one @150 yrds

from 50 to 150 yrds there is only an inch and half diffrence

im happy with that and the keeper who helped me says he was impressed with the accuracy

ive only had the one fox but no deer as yet ,the damage on the fox was nt too excessive but well marked so will they be ok for deer if shot in the right place ?

There's a lot of differing opinions on bullet type and weight, but after trying several, I found that remington 80 gr psp group well in my Howa, and everything they've hit has dropped on the spot, and the meat damage on Roe is acceptable providing shot placement is ok.

yes there be good for dear mate thats is what they where made for. the vclue is in the name of them.

ive used them in my 22/250 on fox and there deadly. more damage then the bt ammo. i did think at the time if they do this to a fox then surely they would damage deer to much. but these bullet companys no what there doing. i think the heads are made by speer or sierra

I think they're ok, I've not had too much experience w. CF rifles, myself but I think they're just regulat SP rounds like the wincheseter super X, federal power shok sp rounds, that sort of thing, lets be honest though, you get hit by a SP bullet and it's pretty much game over! I'd think they'd be fine for everything up to fallow...
