Zero range .223

200 yards, then use a ballistic calculator to get your +/- at 100,300,400.

 

Same as above but check your bullet +/- physically as well by placing targets at the ranges mentioned above as l found ballistic calculators aren't always exactthumbs.gif

You zero at a distance that most suits your land/quarry/ability!

 

With a .223 this would usually be between 100-200 yards for field work!

 

Physically check other distances by shooting after zeroing!

i agree, mines zeroed at 100yard as thats where most of my shooting is at, and just work out the drop at the longer ranges.
