jackwhippet 3 Posted October 30, 2010 Report Share Posted October 30, 2010 I have just noticed both yesterday and today that my jill from non working parents hasn't touched the lambs hearts(no rabbits left) I cut up for them, she went straight to the dry food on both occasions I have never really stayed to watch them eat before today so I dont know whether its a one off so as to speak or been going on since I have had her has anyone come across this before Quote Link to post

ulverston moocher 60 Posted October 30, 2010 Report Share Posted October 30, 2010 some ferrets get very fussy when on dry food and refuse to take anything else I have had a couple that I have got off people that have been like this I just offered them fresh meat every day and no dry when they get hungry they will eat it mate but dry is handy in summer to stop fly's. More energy better coats etc buy breeder dry cat food mate, cheap but great stuff, mine are on that, rabbit and lambs hearts... big strong, healthy thick coats and FULL of energy... i have many ppl say i should feed ferret food intill thay see my ferrets, mine are top notch Quote Link to post

I feed mine a complete cat food because they prefer it to complete ferret ATB Yes it's complete, it has 35% protein and 12% oils and fats almost the exact same ingredients in ferret food.
