bertie 0
Its bad here too, the frosts have been poor and the food in the woods are in abundance, they've been that sparce the rape is around a foot high! Quote Link to post
IanB 0
Was out today and spotted some dropping into rape from a strip wood...hopefully they'll start hitting it properly sooner rather than later... Quote Link to post

mooster 1
i've been in the woods in devon today with my old baikal 12 bore but really only because it was too wet and windy to go ferreting. havent stalked woodies for about a year and it showed!...i was useless!! very windy so woodies had trouble seing me creeping through undergrowth but i was so rusty, everytinme i Moved from my position a bird would fly from above my head,so windy i hadn't heard them arriving. i swore at myself over and over again but had a good day in the fresh air! Definately a day to forget so far as the bag goes, but still better than being at work! just thought i'd share my experience. cheers lads ,Mooster. Quote Link to post
Guest Macnas
Not many woodies around here, not enough cereal crop to hold any great numbers. Haven't shot one since sometime in september i think. Quote Link to post
