Casso 1,264
I was wondering lads whats the best time in your life to own a running dog, I kept lurchers while at school,,plenty of spare time, willing ,fit,no stress, keen, plenty of get up and go, The flip side of that was,,no money ,no wheels, lack of experience, When your a little older,,money ,some knowledge, still fit, more settled, good set of wheels, formed a picture of what hunting and what works for you Older still ,experience , settled, less ego driven maybe, knowledge, plenty of connections in the game, wiser, more patience and understanding of dog, knows his/her hunting and prey Flip side of this one is,,less active, less time ,moneys tighter, other commitments ,more stress,,,barb wire looks a lot highing than it did and a lot more threatening,in fact most fences present a problem Not really a serious topic but any thoughts or experiences most welcome,, Quote Link to post
