Now then you airgunners, I'm down to one piece of stubble field now, all the rest has been ploughed, sprayed and drilled, so now we should see the fruits of our Summer labour, more crops and less rabbits. So I decided as there was nowt on TV, again that I should fill my time by having a couple of laps round this stubble and whack a couple of rabbits. So I charged up the batteries, shoved them in the torch, pumped up the HW, then asked her indoors if she fancied a lamp, but I was met by her see you when you get back look, you know the one, head tilted forward, eyebrows raised, arms folded, so off I went, on my own It was a little foggy out, and as I got to the motor I could see that the windows could do with a quick shammy to get the dew off, so gear in the motor I decided to start the motor up and let it warm up while I did the windows, I had just shammied the drivers side windwo when the CD player burst into action, and f**k me it was loud, the Mrs had Coldplay on volume ten and had forgotten to turn it down when she parked up, that impressed my neighbours at twelve o'clock at night, and here's me trying to be quiet and not slam the doors Got parked up at the gate hole on this permission, filled the mag, opened the windows, dont want to put a hole in one eh! A quick sweap with the torch put me onto a couple of bunnies making for the hedge, just where I wanted them. Drove over to where I had seen them duck in, torch on, red eyes, WHACK! One down, one on the run. into first and we're off again. Drove fifty yards, lamp on, and there's the other bunny, WHACK! Two down. I think the rabbits are starting to become clued up on the lamp, because the rest of the-is length of hedge produced nothing. So I cut across to the other side of the field to see if there was anything willing to be shot And there was, WHACK! And a trio of rabbits graced my boot But nothing else from this length, so off to the other side heading back to the gate. I was just debating whether or not to put the rifle in the slip, when just under the hedge I could see bunny number four, I'm always a little reluctant to whack these, as nine times out of ten the bounce further into the hedge, and its a down on your belly job to retieve the b***ards But I whacked it anyway So a quick lap produced four, not a record sized haul, but it made me happy. Here's the end of session shot, and as you can see I'm still struggling to get used to the gamebag

Cheers Hunter, The HW100 did the job there was'nt a lot about, and the air was a little still which seems to make the bunnys a little jittery

Cheers mate This is the torch I use, its light and compact, has a good beam that can focus from wide down to a pinpoint, there are cheaper torches on the market, but I borrowed on of these from a mate, did well with it, so I bought one of my own, here's a link
