beagles 0 Posted December 21, 2006 Report Share Posted December 21, 2006 hi all, me and blackpack went out this morning for a few hours was a nice frost netting up the first warren was having trouble with the holes bein to far in the hedges and hedges to thick so we did what we could and enterd the ferrets a bolt straight away a big buck rabbit so put ferrets back down and there was rabbits flying out all over the place and all out the holes with no nets had a dig got the rabbit out then another rabbit was there but he ran up the tube and we bolted him after to a warren down the hedge so we netted that up to had a few out of that one and one got away due 2 me droping him so moved on to another burrow bolted 2 had 1 and moved on agen only netted 3 holes due 2 the hedges thick as i said before and 7 bolted out got one with the lurcher so movd on agen 2 another burrow had 2 out of that withing 10 secs so by then we had 6 so we seen one run back to a burrow we had just done so we fort [bANNED TEXT] leg the dogs have this one his must of bolted about 10 times and went back in and in the end i got him with me hand both ferrets nailing him so 7 was a good day bolted about 30 but you cant get them all these are the first to Quote Link to post

Frank. they were the last ones we done the first one was the thick one and that hedge there in the pic we netted one side lurchers another side we do that alot let the dogs have a gd run Quote Link to post
