A great night out

Recommended Posts

hi Matt

and very nicely said buddy

and thanks for the eggs & the rocket fuel(home brew cider) going to drink that next Friday :whistling: and thanks for driving

would like to add a few short words too! as Matt said it was raining heavy and the Bunny's were still coming out,so don't let the rain stop ya lads! (Darryl)

the Air Arms team .177/.22 worked well together  as Matt has said i let him use the .177 which i usually use for night shooting, but thought i would give Matt the better cal lol :tongue2: but the .22 once again was shooting like a dream and at night, but think i have my judgment improving all the time especially with the .22 and its power curve,as well as estimating range at night.think Matt was struggling as he has already said with ranging, as every one else dose, but he pulled of some quality shots, which they just rolled over no twitching nothing lights OUT!!! i also pulled of some nice shots  which surprised myself.

the AAS410K's were soaked,the slings,mod cover,butt/mag holder cover,bi-pods.

now they have all been wiped down left to climatize before wiping down with an oily rag

the bi pods i had to dry with an hair dryer, just couldn't get in to all those nooks and crannies.

even the magazines were wet!

Oops, sorry, that's a habit from shooting deer! :icon_redface:

Definitely need to practice night time range estimation. It's not so important with the rimmy.

And I have one of your pellets too, that came out of one of the bunnies. I like to see "used" pellets, it gives you an idea of how the energy is transferring. I'll try and get a pic of it to put up, as it's quite interesting!

I'm drinking a bottle of the cider now. It's a wee bit sweeter than I'd normally drink, which just makes it all the more dangerous as it doesn't taste alcoholic, though the hygrometer is telling me somewhere around 9% :icon_eek::blink:
