ally resevoirs for hw100's

Recommended Posts

hi lads,

sweeneys recent work on his s200 stock has got me thinking about a few minor changes to das kraut, mainly to make it a bit lighter as traipsing up the sides of the valley is wearing me out a bit(chest infection and smoking aint helping either!)

one of the things i was considering was an ally air resevoir and i'm wondering if anyones tried one, and if so, how much difference does it make? i was gonna go through A+M gunsmiths cos their reputation on THL is first rate, its not gonna be for a while til i've got a spare couple of quid...

if an ally resevoir's considerably lighter i'm thinking about skeletonising the stock to maintain the balance and shave a couple of ounces off to boot.

all info gratefully received, thanks for reading

cheers, wurz

might just put up with the weight then,as that seems expensive for losing just 11oz... i'll give A+M a bell in the morning i reckon and see what theyre charging.

Hi Wurz.

11ozs.....well if that's all you loose....Ill be buying a set of wheels for mine :laugh:

Does that 11ozs include the wieght of the guage you have to buy aswell, because that will add a bit more to the 11ozs if not.

Dont think we would gain very much from from trimming the Butt either mate :hmm:
