Barrie 1,325
It was bought to my attention early this week that the Welfare of Animals Bill (which amongst other things seeks to ban tail docking) had entered its committee stage in the Northern Ireland Assembly. I'm most anxious to get in contact with Seamus Irwin to discuss the matter, if anyone can assist please PM. Thanks - Barrie Quote Link to post

Barrie 1,325
Good luck Barrie Thanks.... as always we'll give it our best shot . My understanding is that the Committee met and received partial evidence during this week and that process will continue at least part way through next. We've offered every assistance we can and hopefully the information we've been able to provide so far will be of use to those arguing on our behalf. Only time will tell.... sadly with politics being what it is, sanity and common sense don't always prevail . Hopefully some of the lads on that side of the water will keep us posted on developments.... good luck lads Edited September 25, 2010 by Barrie Quote Link to post
