bird 10,014
Please tell me you are not going to purposely run this dog on quarry knowing its physical weakness:doh: could be right Dell, its hard this one. With any amount of hard running, it will put alot of strain on (any) dogs joint's, and lamping is very hard on a dog. So if you are going to lamp her there is a strong chance she will keep breaking down. But i suppose there is only one way to find out,?? if she (carnt) handle a night lamping, as been said just do a bit of light ferret'n with her. Ray Quote Link to post

collie/grey 238
f*****g ell i never said i was going to take her out 5 nights a week for 4 hour sessions did i??? Obviously i know how far she can go and she has the will power. I said i will give her a go and see what she CAN do, theres no harm in trying, my bloody dog i'll do what i like with her, she will just require more rest than normal, and besides she's not going to need to do much running in the first place! There's no harm in trying, at least i haven't taken her out at 6 month old expecting miracles! Get a grip! Thanks all for the positive feedback Quote Link to post

Me and Leah have had a tough few months together and at times has been testing but she has come through stronger than i thought she would and i can only hope she improves but whatever the outcome she will still live a happy fulfilled life!
