Bull x bitch update

Please tell me you are not going to purposely run this dog on quarry knowing its physical weakness:doh:

could be right Dell, its hard this one. With any amount of hard running, it will put alot of strain on (any) dogs joint's, and lamping is very hard on a dog. So if you are going to lamp her there is a strong chance she will keep breaking down. But i suppose there is only one way to find out,?? if she (carnt) handle a night lamping, as been said just do a bit of light ferret'n with her. Ray

ffs you silly twat she's still got 4 legs and her mouth still works, she might adapt who are you to say she wont. like they say nothing ventured nothing gained :big_boss: if she's no good then at least you found out. look at jeremy beatle he had one hand bigger than the other did that stop him being a tv presenter no. :D

Its true then YOU are definatly the THL clown stick to peddling pups out of greyhounds a proper dog man you will never be just another muppet that keeps running dogs:doh:

f*****g ell i never said i was going to take her out 5 nights a week for 4 hour sessions did i??? Obviously i know how far she can go and she has the will power. I said i will give her a go and see what she CAN do, theres no harm in trying, my bloody dog i'll do what i like with her, she will just require more rest than normal, and besides she's not going to need to do much running in the first place! There's no harm in trying, at least i haven't taken her out at 6 month old expecting miracles! Get a grip!

Thanks all for the positive feedback

let her grow up and learn , then yes i sgree let her have a bit of work , YOU know the dogs limits , i ferret with a 3 legged bitch , she thinks its handy being able to get further down holes now with only the three to hinder her lol!! you know you could well be heading for heartbreak but without trying you will never know

that is very true , i love my dogs to bits and will do almost anything for them , i keep far too many and clean up too much crap but hey they are MY dogs and i love them BUT each time i take any of tem out at night i take that risk and am quite prepared for the worst , however if my dogs were to die i would much rather they did it trying to do something they loved , you have ploughed a lot of love and faith in your dog hun and i for 1 would love to see a happy ending for you both

Aww thankyou LL, i am the same to be honest, losing my pup Ammo last year really made me think, it hit me hard and i felt like giving up working dogs altogether but in a way he made me stronger, i would much rather take the risk of my dogs going out working and dying prematurely doing what they loved than being cooped up indoors and die a premature death through obesity and all the problems that come with it. Me and Leah have had a tough few months together and at times has been testing but she has come through stronger than i thought she would and i can only hope she improves but whatever the outcome she will still live a happy fulfilled life!
