NEWKID 28,048 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 My lad with a couple of fish, he's 4 drives and me mad, doesn't stop talking, touches everything, fires stones with my catapult at anything, goes to close to the edge on the rocks or climbs the tree by the pond. but he loves coming fishing with me and i love taking him. I took my eye off what I was doing, snagged & lost two sets of feathers with my first three casts, and knocked all my kit into a big rock pool.. ..I'll still take him again though! Quote Link to post

A halfdozen shad came out of the stomach and she squealed "babies!" as she ran off with a fistfull to show her grandmother. Shortly thereafter she was introduced to the concept of bait. Cheers, Mark Its funny how there not at all squeamish when there little, last week my little girl who's 2 was in the garden as i was skinning a rabbit trying to help( getting in the way) my older girl who's 11 ( and proper girly) disapeared inside saying we were disgusting. They're like sponges when there little willing to learn anything and get stuck in, now im a little older and i've got a bit more patience( only shout at em every 5 mins now:laugh: ) i want to teach them what i can, then they can make up there own minds if they wanna fish, hunt or...... be boring:thumbs: Quote Link to post
sighthound1811 6 Posted September 11, 2010 Report Share Posted September 11, 2010 me an my dad took my wee boy whose 3 fishing last week.....his first time,he caught a crab an exclaimed in a very loud an annoyed voice" i dont want a crab i want a fish!!!" thankfully he caught (with a bit of help) a pollok an was well chuffed i took him home fed the fish to the lurchers an his mum gave him fish fingers for dinner an told him that was the fish he caught now hes bustin my balls every day to go fishing !!! hes already been on the hill with the dogs an loves that as well so , happy days..atb lads, chris...
