aaronpigeonplucker 32
hi all, just a quick one, how many shots per charge do you get off a gunpower stealth? also, does anyone have any good bad points about the gun? if i get one it will be a rat/feral chuck about gun. Phantom 631
Hell fire Aaron I wouldn't want to be shooting one of those things in a building, they are very close to the limit if I remeber correctly and would certainly go through a ferral at a decent range. For ratting and ferrals (usually done inside a bulding of some sort) I would want a substantially lower ME than a 12. The reason for that is that many buildings where ferrals accumulate, wharehouses, barns etc usually have a pretty fragile roof and I wouldn't want to be putting holes through it; insured or not. For ratting within the confines of a building, I would certainly not want a ricochet comming back and breaking my skin after punching through a rat carrying any BBV's such as Weils Disease. aaronpigeonplucker 32
yuck ok. maybe i'll get a lower power springer. but just out of intrest, as i like light rifles and this is only 5.25lb, how many shots per charge do you get? the reason i was thinking about the stealth is because its synthetic and not nearly as pretty as my s400 so i wouldent be so worried about damaging it. but if its too powerful then maybe i'll think about an smk or something not too dear for max 15yrd shooting. what model would you recommend? Phantom 631
I dont know the shot count buddy, but if you know both the ME and capacity of the air cylinder, then CGP has a very good shot count Calculator in it For close range ferrals and rodents, how about something light and robust. If you were thinking of smk, then the xs19 is a little long and probably heavy for you, deadly springer though mines runnung untuned at 10.5ft/lbs. The QB's are quite light (not sure of ME though) or even a Ratty / King ratty I would also reccomend a lightish pellet and as your shooting close in, a flathead/wadcutter type. Less chance of it comming back at you. Phantom Quote Link to post
maty j 6
If you like the gun Aaron go for It but only If you don't mind working on the guns which on these Is a piece of piss anyway. Get a pre AT one and you can alter the power to whatever you like providing It's sub 12 obviously. When buying a stealth buying a chrono at the same time If you havn't got one Is a necessity as mine was running 16 FPE when I had It! I've got top hats here that can make the gun shoot anywhere from 6-12 FPE. Switch hammers and you get a different range again, Springs It all changes again. Cal swaps take a couple of minutes. I love mine just don't use It half as much as I should. Quote Link to post
spud gun 16
i think i used to get around 400 shots out of mine when i had it, and has said the guns are very close to the limit! they were first brought out if im not wrong for fac and can be turned up mega high in a matter of minutes. there good light weight and accurate guns. you can throw them around and they will take a lot of stick, you wont be disappointed Quote Link to post
craig33 10
id say get it too you can adjust power down anyway Quote Link to post
rossy08 33
there in my eyes a very good light little rifle. and as stated the power can be adjusted very quick and easy, think theres about 250 shot per charge on full power. atb Andy Quote Link to post
