Guest Buttermilk Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 have got two bottles of sloe vodka that have been sitting since last november, prob need watering down with more vodka, as its thick like a lacquer Does anyone have a really good recipe for sloe/damson gin? Thanks ...... ive made this several times.. so im speakin from experiance.. not copying and pasing from other sites like some do !!! take any 1- 1/2 litre fizzy drink bottle, and fill to the top of the label with pierced sloes, pour in through a funnel a small bag of castor sugar.. now top up with cheap gin or cheap vodka.. shake it every day for a week and then once a week for ages lol.. after a couple of months you can strain it off into another smaller bottle... it will be similiar to cherry brandy thick and like a liquear.. it gets better the longer its left heres some i was makin a while ago there proberly a couple of days old and a week old the other one Quote Link to post Share on other sites

After you drain the fruit off the vodka/gin pour a bottle of cheep white wine over the fruit over night then drain that and drink the wine Quote Link to post Share on other sites
