All the none indigenous species should be shot or trapped before they cause any problems to the natural balance, look what happened when man tried to play god and introduced grey squirrel and muntjack deer.

One less is better than one more, 10 less is better than 10 more and so on, if i was to encounter a wild red tail/harris etc,i would do my best to try and trap it or get it down to the glove, failing that after a week of trying im sure it would end up dying of lead poisoning. :whistling: ,the same goes for anything else that should not be over here.

Not sure I'd shoot one, but I'd pull out all the stops to catch one. I don't think it's the end of the world environmentally, but is potentially disastrous for falconry.

Harris's breeding in numbers in this country would decimate the the place and probably drive out alot of our indegnouse species like the Buzzard. I can just see a family of Harris's making their way around some Game pens, could also see them returning regular to this resturant for further pickings....

that is true, they could breed like rabbits with such a rich food source, only other problem is with people mad to go shooting them is they could just be shooting someones lost bird not necessarily one thats gone feral or that is wild bred, care needs to be taken with this issue, needs to be thought through.
