Sweeney-Todd 208
new to me . but i think the guns about 6 years old What's the problem, are you not grouping? If not, 6 years old, give the barrel a pull through with white spirit untill clean, then try again mate. What Pellets have you tried so far? Bill. Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. I use a 90 but it was .177 when I first bought it 12 years ago and it was very pellet fussy. The only ones that really worked were Baracudas (wouldn't recomend them in .22 'cos they're very heavy) and RWS Superdomes. Those two were pretty much pellet on pellet, everthing else looked like I'd been shooting at the target with a feckin' shotgun.... I put a .20 barrel on it a couple of years back and it shoots well with pretty much whatever's put through it now. They are bloody funny things, airguns. HW's do not tend to be pellet fussy, I've owned a good few over the years and never had anything like the problems I had when I first got the 90. Just try as many pellet types as you can but before you shell out cash on ammo maybe have the gun chronoed just be sure it's not a mechanical fault, check all that should be tight is, scope, stock, mod etc. It could be a simple case of having a screw loose... Good luck with it, fella. Cheers. Edited August 20, 2010 by andyfr1968 Quote Link to post
Sweeney-Todd 208
Hi Rabbit Slayer. Pull the barrel through, do as Andy say's and check the scope, and rifle over first. If you still have trouble. PM me your address, and Ill send a few of each of the ones I have here. AA Field. AA Hunters. JSB Exacts. RWS Superdomes. Might save you a few bob. Im on holiday for a week, next week, so Ill get them to you when I come back.....if you need them that is? Maybe someone with other makes could help out too? ATB. Bill. Quote Link to post
