Casso 1,261
Fair play , sound's like your head's in the right place which is half the battle, whats your background in ?, heavy hands like that will give ya great conifidence going into a fight like this ,,plenty of really good stand up lads at the top level in mma, look what Liddell achieved,, best of luck , kye, To be honest it always amazed me how Liddell was as succesful as he was for such a technically poor striker/puncher.....i believe the level of striking/boxing is very low within the sport of mma.....Liddell relied on opponents walking onto stuff and getting caught with counters,as soon as folk stopped chasing him and forced him to come forward he was only half as dangerous. Anyway not to detract from the topic and best of luck to the lad Kye. your right gnash, technically he looked very poor in there, but he had very heavy hands, more's to the point, though, his takedown defence was second to none against some of the best grapplers in mma, i must admit i prefare watching 2 fighters with a stand up background in mma, because thats what i know, the bjj lads are delighted when it goes to ground , but it bores me to f*****g tears,,
Kye 77
Hi Casso,.. I suppose you could call me a striker, but im not realy technical. I do hit well above my weight though, which is handy. If i had to describe myself, or liken me to anyone fighter, i would have to say old school Igor Vovchanchin(spl?)...although he has more technique..lol. Thanks for all the kind words/pm's guys...im already in nice shape, just need to heighten it, and peak at the right time now...weight wont be a worry with this fight, so thats a load of my mind... Kye,.
