Confusion on Cartridge size / Advice please

Hi all

 

As already stated on a previous posting i have recently purchased a brand new Winchester sx3 12g 3 1/2.

 

As a newbie with semi auto's i am a bit confused regarding which size cartridges to use.

 

On winchesters site it states that :

 

31⁄2" —These models have a 3 1⁄2" chamber designed to

shoot factory 12 gauge loads including 2 3⁄4", 3" and 3 1⁄2"

(11⁄8 oz. to 21⁄4 oz.) field loads. (They are NOT designed

to shoot the lightest factory 7⁄8 oz. and 1 oz. loads.)

 

The only shells that i have left after selling my o/u are LYALVALE EXPRESS 32 number 6s 2 1/2'' 65mm .

 

Can somebody please tell me if this size cartridge will work in my 3 1/2 semi's chamber.

 

Are these cartridges 1 oz loads , because it doesn't say on the box. if they are is it advisable not to use them ?

 

Any advice will be greatly appreciated ,

1 oz= 28 grams so your cartridges should be fine to use by the looks of it

They will be fine , don't panic my shotty has a 3 1/2" chamber and it takes all sizes of cartridges, the only problem you get is whether they cycle properly. As far as section 1 goes I am aware of the issue but as far as I am aware you are ok as long as you don't get caught with three cartridges in the magazine... that is when you have alot of explaining to do and will be in deep shit
