just wondered what you lads /lasses use to clean your kennels and runs

jeyes fluid or battles black,the black has a stronger odour than the jeyes but it's good gear,cheaper too.

Trigene or jeyes fluid, although a friend told me jeyes can damage the dogs kidneys

Jeyes can be very damaging if dogs injest it. I use Trigene.

jeyes is fine if you remove water buckets and such before hand and rinse well down before returning the dogs,never heard of trigene whats it like,any odour etc?

Trigene is made by a company called medichem, I think 5 litres is about £20 It has different smells, lemon and tropical but it's very good stuff

Trigene is used by Vets and in hospitals, its safe even if dogs drink it and it kills more diseases than most of the others do. Its not cheap, but its excellent, it smells fresh and there are a few fragrances to choose from.

 

Its £32.06 excluding VAT for 5 litres. They also do "Odogene" which is fabulous for strong smells.

how long would a 5 litres of this trigene last i clean my runs morning and night ?

what dose of trigene do you mix with water ?

I think the dilution is 1:100 but i'll have to check as I make up batches in advance.........

Your enthusiasm is commendable mate but your overdoing the disenfectant .This time of year a rinse with water is fine and a disenfect twice a week.In summer ,the need to keep the smell and flies down necetates more often use .

i know myself probably disinfecting them once a day and rinseing at night would probably do but it has become a routine i did for a while just give it a disinfectant in morning and rinse at night but felt i was cutting corners ,like i say routine get up tie dogs outside run wash down runs walk dogs feed dogs +clean water of to work same when i get home

zap the cleaner i use cost me just £2 a day it's my lad plus just use jeyes fluid or bleach

Roy you know my kids they would want more than £2 a day ,right i think i going to use the jeyes fluid so whats the largest tub you can get of it and what sort of price .thanks for all replys
