kobidog 1
hi, i am 14 years old and i am going to go decoying with a friend for the first time in a couple of days.I know that we will be decoying over wheat stubble. Now the only experience i have of decoying is decoying feral pigeons to an airgun in the farm yard, which i know is completely differrent to decoying woodys to a 20 bore!i have just 6 shell decoys which i know is probably not enough. So could anyone please give tips on what pattern i should use, fieldcraft etc? thankyou Quote Link to post
country gent 0
a simple horse shoe pattern will be as good as anything to start with, use some if the shot birds as decoys. it could be a good idea to get together with your mate and buy some more decoying kit. Quote Link to post
