on the second link it says the mountain hare is called the irish hare

in ireland are they one and the same i would'nt know personally

do us all a favour and delete that pic from your profile saluki greyhounds, pictures like that will end up getting this site shut down,

i would agree brown hares are much faster than blue hares pre ban i have seen dogs that can catch blue hare but are unable to catch browns you need a good dog for these

No match for a good dog, they run like big white rabbits in thick heather, Ive got a geriatric, semi arthritic collie mutt who can still catch them, sometimes straight out of the bed. Get them up on some short heather and the dog might get a few bends out of them, hold your dog back on a slip and you might even get a longer run, but they dont run anywhere near as well as a good brown hare. JMHO

thats some amount of game was there an old man from ireland present on that day.

just i heard similar amounts where caught when he met up with some english lads over there?

must of been a great day out all the same
