rodge 4
While currently looking for a new terrier to run on this season had a quick glance at donedeal dismorning and a couple of so called workers for sale with trial?I find it a bit strange that trials would be given with terriers this time of year as alot of young about and would not be a suitable trial for a working dog.I know donedeal is not the best place to be looking just wondering what your thoughts on this matter would be? MAIN MAN 277
you must have friends in the hunt! see if any of them have a terrier thats just started you can use to bring it on, then have a pup for your trouble that way you no what your getting. Tried the free add thing myself when iv been short it never worked for me. But often had terriers to help me mates out and seems to work well for me. Quote Link to post
FightTheBan 1,147
Possibly giving a trial at this time of year knowing full well you cannot test it. I would stay well clear, personally, but thats just me. FTB Quote Link to post
rodge 4
Cheers for the replys lads.My hunting mate is more a lurcherman but does enjoy the digging game to i wouldnt buy this time of year anywa trial or no trial as most are quitters or pure shite.Even trialed so called workers last winter and nothing but waisters i think its quite funny the price these lads are looking for these terriers you show them an earth and they turn and run. hedz31 1,308
i always find it strange why people would part with a good worker in the first place,if a dog is working is sound in the kennel good with other dogs and good with people why get rid ??? Quote Link to post
CarraghsGem 92
my patts a belter, only reason i managed to get him is cause hes male dog aggressive + a tad kennel crazy! doesnt cause me any problems but didnt suit the man who bred him + worked him before me, cant wait for september.......... top terrierman 90
i would stay clear of done deal when it comes to terriers.giveing trials with dogs this time of year what dose that tell you about the man saleing the dog its a dog dealers site.its only a matter of time before some of the lads on their bring heat on every boby i have seen adds on it terriers working grey and the famous parents working heavy game what kind of people put up these adds brainless.get a pup off decent lads and dont bring trouble on yourself buying other peoples shit. wexford Pa 84
Rodge donedeal isnt the best site to be buying dogs tbh, unless a lad is seriously honest wit u from the start, ive sold a terrier or 2 on it and was extremely honest when doin it (as you know). They didnt suit my needs but suited someone else.. But always be careful buyin dogs no matter who/where/how ur buyin it? Best thing is get a pup from working parents from someone u know or a name of a man from someone u trust, rare the pup best u can n bring it on yourself? ..... Pa Quote Link to post
