To be fair we have been there before - my grandfather and great grandfather both fought in Afghan campaigns and said there is nothing wrong with the afghans they just dont take kindly to folk invading where they live, dont matter if the invaders are from the usa or the next valley they fight like tigers. We out equip, out mechanise and over power them but at the end of the day whats the point policing a country that wants us to f**k off, losing troops so the fat cats can line their pockets through military arms contracts, civilian construction contracts etc etc etc - thats where the money is in 're-building' a country. Lets just give it up. . . . . . since when did the afghans ever come and attack anyone out of their country. Most terrorist attacks are carried out and funded by pakistan and saudi arabia - both of which we brown nose or even our own citizens. Afghanistan is just a scape goat to rile up the ignorant. Prior to 2000 afganistan was responsible for an estimated 75%-90% of opium production worldwide. The taliban banned opium production in 2000. By 2001 95% of opium production in afganistan had stopped. Later on we invaded and now afganistan is back to full scale production again producing 75%-90% of worldwide.
