I am honoured to join a long list of celebrities to be photographed with Foxgun Tom. In his colourful Scottish outfit he was in great demand to be photographed at Shanes Castle.

Joining us at the conclusion of the most successful ever and best attended ever Irish Game Fair was Terrier Judge Joe Kyrollos. I thought it fitting that Tom who judged the new Puppy Championship (between Champion Whippet, Terrier and Lurcher Pups) and Joe who judged the All Ireland Terrier Championship sending the Champion through to the Five Nations Champonship at Birr, should be presented with bottles of IRISH WHISKEY.

Foxgun Tom of course will be present at Birr as one of the three judges for the Five Nations Terrier Championship - I hope he isn't trampled in the rush from forum addicts to have their photo taken with him!

Thank you very much for the kind words Albert and the gift of Irish whiskey!! I and Joe as representatives of Neilston Working Dog Association and our country!! were delighted at the invation and honoured to attend Shanes Castle. I was given a surprising amount of gifts over the weekend by friends old and new and I'm extremly grateful for they're kindness and good wish's! Unfortunately I had been unable to attend Game Fairs and Terrier show's in NI for nearly two years because of illness. I also have to say, I was made most welcome by S. Irwin and the rest of the lads runnining the Lurcher and Terrier show, it was a terrific event, well organised and superb quality of dogs shown?

A special thank you must go to Martin McCann and his lovely wife I stayed at their guest house and restaraunt

"Truffles" in Randalstown and the accomodation, service, food were all top class!! I even went on a pub-crawl with Martin on the last night!

Irish Hospitality is second to none! and I'll definately be back at Shanes next year  , showing dogs and socialising with my new friends instead of officiating!!

I also bumped into my oldest and dearest friend in Ireland "Maurice Floyd" who like me age is catching up! he kindly gave me a bottle of Ireland's other well known spirit :whistling:

If I've missed any-one out in my thanks? I apologise and please accept my humble appriciation now

Northern Ireland!! great place, good craic and delightfull, friendly people

Tom

Ps:

I'd also like to say a big thank-you to the people of Randalstown, Northern Ireland who looked after us and showed great warmth and generousity, especially O'Kanes Bar (Marie, Willie and the rest of the staff) :drink::drink::drink:
