higgins 75
While i was in Morecambe,i went to visit the Laurel and Hardy museum as part of day out to Ulverston.Inside there were some items of furniture recovered from Stan Laurel's birth home before the house was to be modernised.I was fascinated to see a framed photograph of an old man with what appears to be a double barrelled shotgun.Does anyone know who hbe might be?Was there any relatives of his that did shooting or hunting? If it helps,i think the real surname of Stan Laurel was Jefferson and hbis father was called Arthur i think so could this be a pic of his grandfather i wonder? Furniture from Stan Laurels home... Photographs of old man with shbotgun....

higgins 75
i reckon Stan being a Cumbrian or Lancastrian living in that part of the country might have got into hunting ,maybe with terriers if he hadn't gone into showbusiness, that's why i find the pic interesting so i took a photo of it, Higgins.
