.243 moderator

Hi,

 

When I applied for my FAC I put .223, .243 and .308, all rifles with moderators. It was not very clever as when I started looking around I could not see many .243 moderators. Most of them are described either .22 or .30cal, and few take up to .25cal. I already have .308 with .30cal T8 moderator, so this slot is taken. Are there any good moderators specifically designed to take up to .243? Or is it better to sell T8 and buy a new .30 cal mod which I could switch between .308 and .243, such as Ase Utra or A-Tec?

I have a wildcat predator 8 on mine. Used to have an ase utra on my last 243

Is the T8 available with different inserts ?? one mod for both rifles perhaps ??

I do not think T8 is available with different inserts. It is also an over barrel type, so I would need two different derlin bushes to fit different rifles.

The bushes are dirt cheap and screw out by hand in a nanosecond.

If different inserts were available it would save you a pretty penny like.
