othickman 6
Theres a piece of local grassland which is used seasonally for livestock (sheep), however they use some type of weedkiller (they seem to target the nettles at the corner of the field), and possibly also something to boost the grass growth. However, this field is literally littered with elder trees, and for such a small area it would be great to harvest the elderflower and later the elderberries, but I'm somewhat concerned that the stuff they use on the field may be poisonous or just generally bad for you.. does anyone know what it may be that they use on such land and if its poisonous? Thanks.
tiny tim 22
it will be a selective grassland herbicide, could be one of many but it will be sprayed low level and will not get on the elder berry leaves so will not be absoorded by the trees
