Phantom 631
LOL Tony buddy, You cant beat shooting a nice springer and feeling that recoil mate. Lets see some Phantom write ups with you banging a few cemy bunnies with the trusty SMK Si Hey, Si I got the beast out last night, was planning on going out with her for some paper punching, but got sidetracked So when I had finished I decided I wanted to put the the Kassnar on the 19 along with the custom silencer. With the SMK scope 3-9x40. Not a bad scope actually apart from high mag in low light, but during the day its great Paid £20 for it. Strange thing is it has 6 mildots on each post, suppose on a pcp, this would facilitate a little extra range. Here she is with the Kassnar, couldn't be arsed to jig the pic this time. As you can see its a big scope and although with a bit of shimming I managed to sit the thing high enough so it was level, but the outer ring on the objective was touching the action, so in the end decided to stick it on the two piece mounts that allows a mill or so between the scope and action so the AO can still be used. If it stops raining, her and I are going to murder some bulls eye targets Let you know how I get on Phantom Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
That’s a nice piece of hardware there Tony . It would be nice if you could shoots some nice groups with the SMK springer mate and them post them on here so that the other lads and lasses can see that as long as you shoot correctly and respect the rifle and its recoil a springer like a SMK can still produce some great groups . I just think its important to show others that it doesn’t matter what rifle you use (price or make wise) as long as you use it safely and correctly you still can fill a game bag . Si Thanks buddy I love her I agree Si; Just told Lesley, I'm going for a wander this aft for some springer practice as it had stopped raining. Most of my targets are inkjet printed and will run summat rotten in the rain, but I have some NRA Targets that RiffRaff gave me, so was gonna use them. Now however, its Siling it down :wallbash: And after the bad news I got yesterday (friend of mine over in the States has an agressive Uterine Cancer and the wife of one of the UBC members is also in hospital with a so far unidentified illness) just after my bit of Good news (The DWP have decided they can't win my incapacity appeal and have changed their decision) I need to get out to take my mind off worrying about the girls, even though I don't know one of them! So as soon as it stops or eases off I'm outa here with my Beast, target and backstop If I'm shooting OK with it and I happen to spot a bunny or woody that will be a bonus but its really to Zero and see if I can still shoot my springer after being lazy so long with my Baby the AA S200 Phantom Quote Link to post
