neil cooney 10,416
Most of you's Irish hunters are or should be aware of the R.I.S.E. campaign in defence of all fieldsports in Ireland. One thing R.I.S.E. keeps pushing is to speak to your local T.D. and speak your case and tell them of your mistrust of our current government regarding fieldsports. A month ago a few of us here in our village spoke and voiced our concern to our local T.D. We more or less told him that the fieldsports faternity of Ireland wont take their bullshit. Guess what ???? He stood up in the Dail and spoke directly to Gormless and fought our corner. Numbers count folks.

neil cooney 10,416
It was Thomas Byrne TD Fianna Fail, East Meath, I'm not saying his loyalties are towards fieldsports but I'd say he has half a brain and knows how big this actually is!!!!!!!!! The R.I.S.E. campaign is in protest to the proposed plans by the Green Party here in the Irish Republic. At the moment the Green Party run the Irish Government. Simple as that. John Gormley's proposals will hinder ALL our chosen fieldsports wether you like it or not.
