Reevo79 3
Exellent going swanseajack Just one point, from your photos, it looks like a few of them have been caught well back. You need to tinker with the triggers to make them real sensitive to fire, also bend the trigger foward so when the mole goes in he doesnt have to go past the killing wire too much before he hits the trigger. This will result in a catch around the chest, like the first photo Never really used the tunnel traps much to success but what are the metal rod that runs through the tunnel trapwith the blue string on... And do you need a tunnel choke on these traps? Quote Link to post

I was reading on the nett some bloke explaining how to set the scissor trap and the tunnel trap he was saying you should dig out your run and when you put your trap in you should put in a speed hump in, this is a wedge of compacted dirt in the center of the tunnel, making a speed-bump of sorts. It should cross the tunnel and will lie directly beneath the trigger pan. Or use clip-on tunnel choke. What do you think of this? When your setting the tunnel traps should you dig well over the size of the trap place the trap in position and back fill the sides? sorry for all the questions had plenty of joy with scissor traps just none with the tunnel traps..
