dog fox 16 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Share Posted May 19, 2010 the isle of man is were it first started for me back in 1980 or there abouts i was 10 years old at the time,had to go stay at my nans for a few months when my mum was in hospital ,my grandad had a lurcher either beddy grey or a deerhound cross as i remember it ,he used to take me out rabbiting and running hare,s i remember the dog chasing a hare up the main street in onchan while people were shopping and so and almost every one was geeing the dog on lol (how times have changed )i came back home and got my first terrier a russell ,its good to see it still alive over there as i have hardly been back since they have now past away ,but left me with a passion to work dogs ,the rest of my family have no intrest with dogs and all think im nuts but i think there,s a part of my grandad still inside me nice dogs to and well done in show mate ,sorry for drifting off post abit but i was starting to remaniss Quote Link to post
