Anybody who takes this internet serious and gets wound up about it should think themselfs lucky that thats all their is to their lives to upsett them ffs

 

Dont think anyones taking it as serious as your reply is but never mind,this is a hunting forum,we are are people in the same game it would be nice to trust people,believe whats said,nower day people will follow you home and rob your kennels.And most of my life is about hunting but not on the internet talking a good hunt instead of being out there!

my uncle had his dogs nicked in 1988 mate after a show its not a new thing

stewie by that age mate we had our own dogs we learmt of older guys who coursed hunted netted fish, netted game ,ferrets etc ,went at nite aT the pheasants ,ive lernt of older mates and by being able to hunt when i wanted to or if needs were there, it sickens me to here young guys gals with no sense , what the best coulor dog whats the best cross , whats the most rabbits etc ,whose caut the most hares etc ,to me its go out tdo the biz and get home safely thtas the hardest game for me and a few others ,stewie you learn from guys who you grew up with or there mistakes ,not of a computer board mate

true whin i wasnt being funny mate just saying its the way it is now but your right all them things you mentioned piss me off too mate and im so glad i had my dad his brother and all there mates to show me the ropes of the game

To be fair i dont trust anyone,unless there close vouched for etc and would never buy a pup unless i know its backgroud etc etc it goes on!

 

Now the real thing that annoyed me,ive met up with people off the site and, on the site that all say they know the game when realy they dont,could of had excellent dogs but dont, now im no expert with lurchers or terriers and learn something new on every outing,weather it be with the normal people im out with the new people i meet,or out mooching by myself i learn something new.Everyone puts topics up on here about lurchers and terrier but how many are honest,everyone seems to have world beaters,lurcher that do day night,fox,hare,roe,rabbit etc etc no-one ever says well my dog specialises in such and such a quarry IE Rabbits,no-one admits if a dogs shit,or jacked!

 

Same in the terrier game you always here about all the dogs staying until dug to but you never here about the messers,where a dog shows himself 3-4 times during a dig!

 

So can you trust anyone in our sport,weather it be buying a pup,stud a dog,line a bitch can you believe whats said?

 

 

Respect mate know what you saying mate.A few on this site i would not tell if i dug the back garden.Some of us think we know who they are

agreed not every one can be trusted but think your over looking the fact that an average dog to you is someone elses superdog .we dont all hunt 24/7.goin on about people who dont know what you know and dont have 6 out of 6 dogs.give em a break.some of us havent got a full time hunting job or/and have a mrs and kids to raise.be a borin world if we were all the bollox like u lot!!!.

I take this site with a pinch of salt, you can tell if someone is genuine or not by the way they talk about the game or they're dogs, i have met some really decent people off here and some that i don't want to meet again, and some more i would like to meet!! I have learnt alot from this site, as i joined when i was a mere youngster and none of my family were really hunters especially not lurchers.

well lads the way i see it is i tell the truth about my dogs all the time because i dont ask them too buy me a bag of dog food or too take me out hunting plus if i was too say my dog was a 5 out of 5 once im out with them my dog cannot lie for me so theres no point in lieing to anyone

Trust nobody ever and you will be rarely disappointed and the odd time you will be amazed the net is a more distorted version of life, easier to lie and hide behind,

 

me? I guess I've been lucky met a couple of really decent people via the net, won't embarass anyone with names...but they know who they are
