been out again today with the pup now 7 months old, killing rats and using her nose quit well but if she flushes a rat or rabbit and it goes into Nettles the little wont go in after them,advise please

Walk her as much as you can on the roads toughen up her pads as this is where it seems to hurt pups

try leaving her of the hedging till winter ? you will only turn her off hunting if she don't want to enter nettles wrong time of year to bring on a pup mate
