mayweather v,s pacquio

Recommended Posts

I cant see a knockout and i think will be a close call and a possible draw to generate another fight.Mayweather is the bigger stronger fighter and can box too and pac man ith super lightning quick and can certainly dont mind a bit of pain after reading his training techniques of been whipped with bamboos around the midriff to deaden the nerves in his body.I just about cry when out in the field and mate in front lets a branch whip back.

after watching the mosley fight, mayweather shouldve had that finished long before the final round ,i think he wouldnt have finished the rounds if he was fighting paqiou .but i geuss we,ll have to wait and see .

pac all the way. he rushes his opponents and can take anything the brittle handed mayweather can throw. mayweather hates being rushed, but he's only been rushed by lesser fighters in the past. and as mosely showed, he isnt all that hard to hurt. pacquiao hits a tonne harder than sugar shane.

the fight wont happen in my honest view because pacquiao wont do random tests until fight night, and mayweather certainly wont fight in texas where pacquiao's next (and career finale) fight is booked to be held. this is because mayweather uses xylocane(sp) which is a strong pain killer to numb his brittle hands before fights and nevada is the only state which allows him to use it legally.

is funny that they say they arent afraid of him, and that he isnt all that good. yet they claim that there is no way he could be as strong as he is without the use of steroids. make your minds up!!

dont take this the wrong way blan, but who has he fought who is a top of their game, pressure fighter?

he's only fought a handful of world level fighters in his career...corrales, castillo, gatti, judah, de la hoya, hatton, and mosely. and of those, probably only hatton was at the top of his game.

corrales and castillo were just heavy handed, easy to hit fighters who were not in pacquiao's class. gatti was well on his way out and hadnt looked the same since the ward trilogy, and de la hoya, while didnt have a hope of winning on paper actually only lost to a dubious split decision. then you have hatton who just came in and didnt fight at all and mosely who did not have age on his side, but almost toppled mayweather early in the fight but didnt change up a gear to finish it.

i agree that pacquiao is easy to hit, but the only person who's hurt him since stepping up to world level is erik morales, one of the greatest fighters of all time. a loss which he avenged.... twice

fair comments to be honest. though i do think you underestimate pacquiao. to get as much power as he does from his tiny stature, and from the angles he throws his punches, his technique is second to none. pacquiao is definitely the man to take mayweather past being flummoxed for a couple of rounds before figuring out a style. its going to be an out and out scrap and a good one. though as i say, pacquiao isnow contracted to fight at cowboys stadium again. mayweather wont fight there as he is only allowed to inject his hands with pain killing xylocane before fights in nevada.

its rare to find someone who actually knows boxing :) what did you make of katsidis and mitchell? and i assume youre watching ortiz v campbell?

there might have been scope for a rematch, but not really now with the manner in which he was defeated. there's been stirring about his preperations though, his trainer has dropped him in it saying he messed around all the time, and frank warren has told him if he wants to mess around, f**k off somewhere else.

no real shocks anywhere, all to plan really. khan really has to fight maidana or ortiz next before stepping on to bradley and alexander.
