bin feeding my dog raw chicken and beef mlnce along with a complete dry food.is there other stuff i should or could be giving her aswell eg oils vits???.want to give me little beaut the best.educate me now please all you lurcher buffs!!!!!.cheers. mat.

Thats about all ive ever given mine in the off season,plenty of protein is the key, with a good quality complete, anything else is a waste of money,,

the only thing id add is a clove of garlic.

its a natural wormer and keeps the coat shiny.

iv also heard old greyhound lads giving there,s a drop a cherry in there grub once a week to keep the coats shiny but have never done it myself

during the working season then i add pasta to their food also

I feed mine a tin of sardines every couple of weeks which they love and is good for them too.

 

Cod liver oil and/or dessicated liver tablets in small doses won't do any harm either.

When the season starts and there working hard, try adding cider viniger to there meal..stops them cramping and is also an anti-oxident, so im led to believe.
