getting started with ferrets

what would i be better with hobs or jills ? was going to build a hutch 4" x 2" x 2" is that big enough ? and finaly can does anyone know where i can get a couple of kits from a good working strain

depends if like digging mate lol hobs will hold you rabbits were jills will bolt them more often than the hobs i would say get a pair of jills if your just starting out :thumbs:

You need to do your research mate and think in the long term about what you want to do when they come into season ,then think what sex of ferret your wanting . Give me a shout when your ready and i can get you some kits

not realy wanting to be digging all the time to get my ferrets back so jills were my 1st choice but i also dont want to have to breed every year so do you think it would be worth my while getting small bred hobs and getting them castrated to stop possible fighting

2 jills, one small vac hob. Problem solved!

I think its about £50-£60 about our area mate. I've got a castrated hob and hes a decent enough worker.
