hi wonder if someone can help me here ive not run my dog down here yet in newcastle but anyway i took him on long walk today along the beach and across some fields he has been running fine and is in good heath and a fit dog he was ok on the walk and was running fine and was walking fine [bANNED TEXT] got back in the house he was laying down and i noticed his nuckle was swallen pulled him about checked his toes he not made a whipper or nothing over checking him over but now his leg as swelled up with fluid he has a slight limp now but nothing bad ive given him pain killers ive also put cold compress on him but still the same theres no cuts thorns or nothing just need a bit of advice please guys mlb

nw pal i had a bull x and the same fing happened to him [bANNED TEXT] he wewr 11 month n i ended up tekin him 2 the vet n they sed dont worry bwt it but it wer still the same 3 days l8r so a jus give it anti inflamitory tablets and it went dwn but my advice wood be get him checked over by the vet n just lay him up

chances are hes just banged it on drift wood or somit.had this happen loads.flexicam,nice n cheap :clapper:

my brother dog was the same his a bull terrier he running him on the beach and on the sand doomes his leg swelled up no cuts notting he left him for a few days and he is grand now must have turnd it the rong way best of luck with it atb :thumbs:

The toe joint could well be a knocked up toe but it would be unusual for the leg to swell as well so maybe a couple of things going on ie a knocked up toe and a strain likely caused by the same inciden, a pic would help to give more informed replies but as a general, if not to bad rest and if not improving vets.
