bushing terrier

hi all, whent bushing with my terrier last week for the first time, nearly got one, because as I entred the field the rabbits entred the bushes, sent the terrier in but came out empty handed I think they must of gone down a hole, I did only stay for about an hour, can anyone give me any tips such as shall I drive the rabbits out with a stick and ambush them in the runs with my terrier or any other tips that peple could give me. oh, and a lurcer or another dog is out of the question as I cant get one for a while. And if you dont have any thing constructive dont say it.

mate i go bushin all the time with mine and i dont get many but it keeps the dog fit you need a lurcher as i do mate

You will struggle with just the one dog

saying that it will hunt and find better by itself but dont expect to catch many.

just get out there and enjoy what it is a fun walk out.

i do it regular on places that isnt fit to run a running dog on
