Never heard, or seen diggers been used by the dept?

If done correctly, the live catch snare, does not, cut into the badger at all, as i said earlier, they have to by law, be checked, before 12pm, every morning.

The licence taken out by the dept, is given threw national Parks and Wildlife.

As for deer, they have also been culled and found to be positive with tb, in the areas where tb is rife and the culling of badgers is going on.

Frank.

A member on this site from Wicklow had the department on his land digging badgers with a digger and took out the whole ditch we were standing beside them as they were doing it.You are right about the snares if set right, but in my experience Department personnel(for want of a better word)know as much about setting snares correctly as i know about splitting the atom.

well said liam its a total money racket, damo.
